Basalt’s approachable wine program is an expression of time and place, demystified by our knowledgeable team of passionate wine lovers.  Our team guides our guests to wine that they will love, while ensuring those who wish to take a new journey can do just that.  While our provincial product from British Columbia is the pride of the room, our diverse wine menu goes beyond our borders – sourcing rarities and small inventories of quality that provide value to all who step through our door.  With food or on its own, wine is meant for sharing.

While we are clearly enthusiastic about wine, Basalt Wine & Salumeria is more than a wine bar.  Our bar invites you to join it’s philosophy of ‘Drinking with Purpose’ . Our carefully crafted ‘Apertivo’ and ‘Digestivo’ cocktails are designed to elevate your pre-dining and post-meal rituals and give your body the hug it deserves throughout your dining experience.

Seasonally changing, our drinks are truly best enjoyed at our polished black basalt rock bar or outdoor patio on the Village Stroll.  An excellent choice to start your time with us from the moment you sit down.
